House Concept · Chamonix, France
At midnight they kill the lights.
She isn't done.
The Idea
NUIT BLANCHE is an invented Chamonix optics house, and this is its first launch: a frameless gold-mirror ski goggle that sees in the dark. Not a night-vision gadget. A lens you would wear anyway, that happens to turn midnight into dusk.
The film doesn't explain the technology. It puts you on the mountain at midnight, takes every light away, and lets you feel the moment the dark goes clear.

Every Format
Margaux Lenoir. Twenty-eight. Chamonix.
Always the last one on the mountain.
Midnight.
Somewhere below, a hand on the breaker.
Clunk.
The resort shuts the couloir down
mast by mast, from the top.
Everyone goes home.
She pulls the goggles down
and drops in anyway.
Every light dies
just after she passes it.
Then the dark goes clear.
Every ridge, every rock,
every drop, drawn in gold.
Inside the Lens
01
A pinpoint on the bridge that sees by the light of the stars alone. Where the eye finds nothing, the lens finds the mountain.
02
The dark lifts to a clear, cold dusk blue. Every edge, ridge and drop is traced in a thin line of gold, so the terrain arrives before you do.
03
No numbers, no menus, no icons. At speed you don't read. You see. The display is lines and light, and nothing else.
04
The whole mountain inside the lens. From the outside, all anyone sees is a glint of gold in the dark.
The dark was never the problem.

Colour Strategy
Everything is built to lose light. Deep night blacks, cold snow, floodlight white that dies beat by beat. Gold is the only warm tone allowed in the frame: the lens, the sensor, the contour lines. When everything else goes dark, gold is what's left.
