A film for Complice
Complice makes four formulas in Switzerland and stands behind every one of them. The old website told you that. It just looked like every other skincare site doing the same. The brand needed to feel like old money, quiet confidence and something you are lucky to be let in on.
"Make people feel they were let in on a secret."
So we gave the brand a house and a password. The film opens the homepage, and everything else on the site lives behind those doors.

Fall in love with your skinNothing in the film was left to chance. Every character, room and prop was designed as a still before a single shot moved. Then the film was built one shot at a time, each shot doing one thing, so the story reads at a glance on a phone.
She tries the wrong door, is stopped by a white glove, and whispers a word we never hear. The silence is the hook. Everyone wants to know the password.
She always lives on the right of the frame, he always on the left. One rule, held across thirteen shots, so the eye never loses her.
The ending uses the real bottles, built in 3D from the real packaging and given a photographic finish. The true labels are laid back on at the end, so no letter on screen is ever invented.
A score of harp, ticking clock and strings that goes silent when the glove stops her and turns from minor to major as the doors open. A voice with an English and French accent speaks for the house, and says nothing during the whisper.
Every shot was graded into one late sun and upscaled to full HD on its own, so the film holds up on a desktop homepage as well as on a phone.
The film is the front door. Behind it sits the full visual world of the new website. See the collaboration.
